How can I get my project to load faster and perform edit operations quicker?
Select the Optimize Images function in the Options menu. Using the Optimize Images option will adjust your images to not exceed your display's capabilities, which can greatly improve the loading speed and editing performance for your project. If you're running the program in any resolution from 1024X768 to 1600X1200, there is no need to use images that are larger then that size (since your screen won't be able to display the higher detail anyway). The Optimize Images option will automatically adjust your project's images to work within your display's capabilities to improve performance. Select Auto-Optimize to have GlidePics 3D perform image optimization every time you import an image.

How do I complete the build for CD/DVD option once GlidePics 3D indicates the build is complete?
GlidePics 3D prepares your project for CD/DVD by creating a new directory in the same folder that your project's file is saved to. The new directory will have the same name as your project with the label '-DiscFiles' added to the end of your project's name. GlidePics 3D will copy each of your project's images to that directory and will build an autorun file. A copy of the GlidePics 3D program will also be copied to the directory. Once the build process is complete, you can use your favorite CD/DVD burning software to burn the files to disc. If you are using Windows XP, you can use the built-in CD burning program included with the operating system. You can usually just insert a blank CD into the disc drive and Windows will give you the option to open a file explorer that allows you to burn files to the disc. Simply drag-and-drop or copy-and-paste the files from your project's directory to the explorer window (including the autorun file and GlidePics 3D program file), then burn the disc.

The program closed unexpectedly before I had a chance to save my project, can I recover my project?
In many cases, yes. Each time you make an image change to your project (such as cut/copy/paste, drag-n-drop, delete, etc.), a backup is made and saved using the filename TEMPPROJECT.BAK. It is usually stored in the GlidePics3D program directory. You can rename the file with an IPR extension, then load it into the program. A recommended step to help prevent losing your project is saving frequently by simply clicking on the Save Project icon on the toolbar.
